As a former probation officer, I worked with a sex offender caseload in Dallas County Texas and, I can say that I never had a probationer that didnt re-offend. These men and women that violate children need to be incarcerated for a very long time. I personally do not believe that they can be rehabilitated. What you are doing is very important, but realize for every one predator that you have caught there are literally thousands more out there violating our children. I do wish you would do a series in my area though. I live just outside of Philadelphia, PA, in Montgomery County and I know that there are serious problems here too.

I want to THANK YOU for all that your doing. I was molested by a neighbor as a child and I hear so many of the same things being asked in the chatroom, it is hard to watch sometimes but I am so greatful that somthing is being done. I do think the punishment should be alot stiffer because it seems that when these guys get out of jail or off probation the child is usually into self medicating or worse. I wish I could get completly over this but it hasn't been easy. Hello I have seen a couple of episodes and I was thinking these people dont all look like monsters but normal everyday people. Maybe we should focus more on helping people to understand why they have these feelings toward children and help them get rid if it and offer a service for people to tell someone they have this attraction to children and find a way to make it go away like depression and other things instead of sending them to prision when we know that doesnt solve anything they will still have those urges so give them a chance to do something about it because there seem to be alot of people that do this locking them up isnt solveing anything. We need to find a way to help them get rid of these attractions and have places for people to go and get help without getting in trouble if they know they can get help maybe more people with this proablem would step up and get help. Prision isnt solveing anything and is making prisions over croweded and is clear that this doesnt seem uncommon for people to do this the ones you show proably are a very small fraction of how many there are so get them help and maybe we can get this thing under contraol and save are children and save these people with the attraction to children because they are not monsters they need help.

Chris, I genuinely think your series "To Catch A Predator" is really quite amazing, and serves the communities of America to show just how prevelent sex crimes with minors really is. However, I have a fear that because it's been on the air so many times, Dateline, MSNBC etc, that it is becoming more of a novelty than the sad reality that it really is. It's like watching the space shuttle lift off. The first few times it is a huge spectacle, but after the twentieth time, it's no big deal. It seems to me that many of the suspects that you catch think it's a big joke and quite a feather in their cap to be cought by you. I know that's not really the case and like most of America I'm totally mezmerized by your reports. I don't want you to not continue, I think you must, but I feel that the seriousness of what's going on with these sick individuals is becomming watered down by the shear number of broadcasts.

Thank you for continuing to bring awareness to this issue. After ten years of marriage I found out that my husband was a sex addict and had pursued minors on the internet, among other things. Since the divorce, he was arrested in an internet sting in which he traveled to have sex with an underage boy. I doubt he will ever face his problems and honestly get help. As much attention as this matter gets the better as it will help to keep our kids safe. It would be interesting to see you do a story on how this affects those of us on the other side. Thoseof us who were in the dark, had thier families ripped apart, have to put back the pieces and live with the betrayal. It's unbelieveably traumatic. I would like to see you turn the sting around, How about going after the kids that are contacting or engaging in sexually explicate conversation with adults. Chris: Watching the "predator" episodes is akin to watching a train wreck; you're drawn to it. Time and time again, I come away with 3 perspectives on the issue of predators. (1) In spite of your constant endeavors, and those of law enforcement officials in many cities, this type of predatory behavior is dangerous and merits ongoing attention. (2) I can't believe how stupid the predatory types seem to be, especially the repeat offenders. Common sense isn't that common. (3) I'll bet you tend to get sick of seeing this stuff over and over and over.

I am so shocked on these men that are being caught. Some you would expect it from, but other's ?!?! It scares me to death thinking about my daughter growing up with these sick-o's !!! Along with my husband , Im sure! These "people" get too many chances to re-offend! That is one reason why Im in school for law!Things need to change! okay, so as I read some of these blogs I must respond to the few that are saying this is unjust, entrapment and they can't believe that this garbage is on TV, well, if you don't agree with it or like it then TURN THE CHANNEL, go to another show, that's the blessed benefits of America, there is always another channel with another show on for you to watch and enjoy, so you may offer your opinion but the bottom line is that you should find another program to watch if you don't like this one, because most of us like this program and believe that some good is coming of it, as others have stated this will NOT solve the problem but its a start.

As much as I detest these sexual predators, I think Dateline only does these set-ups for TV ratings. Sure these 'men' are sex offenders...but in the real world the parents of children need to be held accountable for their children's actions. Dateline fails to hold parents responsible for the actions of their children and puts the blame entirely on sexual predators. Also, why does Dateline only focus on male predators and not female predators? The answer is because there is a double standard in society. It is much more acceptible for a 35 year old woman to have sex with a 15 year old boy. In the end it's all about ratings for Dateline and while I appreciate the good intentions of the show I think they need to also implicate female predators and irresponsible parents. Just my 2 cents.

Although I am a huge supporter to the cause of the "To Catch A Predator" series and all that it has done to catch these creeps, I have some serious concerns about the initial scene and the graphic language. As a Mom I completely understand the need for this information, however, I have concerns about the terms "anal sex" and "anal rape" being used during prime time television. There were no warning of graphic language or situations upon opening the show and of course the first thing my 9 year old son asked was "what is anal rape?" Again, I support the cause, just wonder if the terminology could come with some warning or maybe be aired at a later time. Great work!!

I would be interested to know if you have ever checked the status of the security clearance granted to the men who work as engineers at defense contractors, military members, etc. You may be surprised that they usually do not loose their clearances to some of this country's most sensitive information, even after being caught red handed by your investigations. What is happening to all the predators after they get caught? Also some of them actually appear to behave in their chat as if this is "normal" behavior, what is wrong with them? This is so prevalent, catching them just doesn't seem effective enough. There must be a better deterrent. Obviously having several shows on dateline about it isn't even putting a dent in the problem. As a father of two boys, I am always worried about what they do online or even on stuff like online games, such as xbox live where audio is used too. Chris, Great show, my family has followed the program since it's debute. I fully support your efforts to clean up this activity. However, tonights broadcast bothered me somewhat. Especially since I share the same last name as one of the morons exposed on your show. I was embarrasssed and humiliated enough jsut to have the same last name as this guy, but you made it 100 times worse by for whatever reason finding it necessary to repeat his last name several times. It seems like you repeated his last name a lot more times than any of the other idiots. Why is that, and why did you find that to be necessary? Dear Chris, I admire what you, Dateline NBC, Perverted Justice, and Law Enforcement are doing with the "To Catch a Predator" series. Additionally, I was wondering if anyone has mentioned doing the same kind of thing in regards to people who call the "phone chat" numbers? Those "lines" operate very much the same as using an internet chat. It's not only underage people who are in danger. I met someone on a phone chat line; we went out a few times. The very last time, I was drugged and raped at his apartment. Not until I saw his apartment, that night, was I aware that he had kids living with him part-time. I somehow drove to a safe place; my mom drove me to the hospital. I was put through the ordeal of having a "rape kit" done, and then spent hours being questioned by the police. I later obtained a copy of the police report, only to discover priors for stalking and phone harrassment. Even with this info, I was not able to get the "phone chat" line to ban him. Sadly, my case was dismissed due to the level of intoxication. This pain is with me everyday; I fear that this will happen to other young women. Thanks for your time.

We had a teacher who had some of her students have sex with National Guard recruiters among other things. Then there was a mother who prostituted her teenage daughers to obtain money for illegal drugs. Yes, the women can be just as bad as the men. Now there is a bill in the state legislature to raise the age of consent from 16 to 18 because of this mother.

Great show, love it. 1) To dc troy and others that think this is entrapment, the police didn't MAKE these people do anything, they CHOSE to go to a house where as far as they KNEW a minor child was home alone. Kudos again and again for Chris Hansen, Dateline, NBC,crew, actors and police. Chris and the "To Catch a Predator" segements, have encouraged our local radio morning crew, Cappy and Tony on Mix 102.9 to create their own fake teen accounts on MySpace on two occasions to date. On both accounts they have been successful in showing the local residents just how easy it is to find a young teen on very few online conversations. On the second set-up they actually "caught" a male predator and all of his infor was turned into the Dallas police. Chris has been on the radio being thanked and thanking Tony and Cappy. Personally I feel that the laws are not severe enough for child predators. I believe the following three strike plan would be very effective. First strike, we go back to the days of the Scarlett Letter since public registration and notification is failing tenfold. Tattoo the forehead of the convicted felon. This to coincide with a manditory 10 year prison sentence without parole. Strike two, try something that England is getting ready to do....sterilize the predator. Castration is effective. This should coincide with a manditory 25 years in prison without parole. Strike three, since even castration cant completely end abuse....manditory life in jail w/o parole. Parents need to be more responsible in raising their kids and setting limits and following through. As neighbors, teachers and friends we need to all watch the precious commodity that we are all charged with. Thanks again Chris...hope to see more and more til you have stomped it all out.

Thanks Chris! Your show is a perfect demonstration of the dangers on the Internet and the prevelance of this crime. For those who keep asking about women predators they have to understand that they are a slightly different breed. Men tend to focus in on the immediate gratification of meeting a girl (or boy)and therefore congregate on chat sites to meet children. Women predators tend to establish an emotional bond first, which is why a lot of them tend to be teachers and speak of 'love' or what they consider love to be. Sex may be involved with women predators but sometimes it is the emotional control that they are seeking and not just the physical act like men. That is just my take but it does not lessen the crime of female pedophiles. This means that parents need to constantly be aware of their children's actions on and off the internet; it is your job to keep them safe and that means informing them! Keep up the great work Dateline and expose as many predators as possible; it is the only way (and for some it's not)to start taking care of this overwhelming crime.

For all the people claiming "entrapment", which ironically enough seem to be male, no one is forcing these men to come to these homes with the intent to have sex with a minor. However, these men do not stop the converstaion and allow it to get sexually graphic. Not only that, they actually show up to the home! They are the ADULT and just because a child talks about sex or even says they want to have sex, that does not make it right!Therefore, by showing up to these homes these men prove they had every intent to engage in sexual acts with a minor! I was wondering it is possible for these people to never have access to the internet again. Of course I know it is impossible to stop them completely but if there was a way we could stop them from getting access in their own home, on their phones or even put a block on their demographic information when it's entered into a computer. This may not stop all of it but I think it would eliminate a lot of it. Chris, If you haven't already figured it out, you can get anyone to fall for this. Notice, for example, you're not collecting any specific type of character. They've been young & old, black, white, yellow, rich or poor, working, retired, etc.. Others that were showcased on Dateline also had the charges dropped. Do these stings really help or is it all for ratings? I would like to see a follow up to the arrests to see how many of them actually get jail time.

The sad thing is, this has been going on for years. And I totally believe to the extent it is today.(just no one ever knew, or wanted to admit it was going on) And how sad that it's only been recently from the realization of what's happening on the internet, authority is finally stating to pay attention. There are more sick men preying on kids than I think anyone realizes. And thanks to Perverted Justice, Dateline and all the other people paying attention to what's happening to our kids,someone is finally willing to bring this into the open and do something about it. It's no longer a "dirty little secret" a 12 year old has to keep about her step grandfather, a neighbor, or an aquaintence of your parents. It's too bad it's taken so long to bring to light. I'm 48 years old and growing up was approached twice - once at the age of 6 by a total stranger who exposed himself and tried to get me into a car, and then when I was 12 by my step grandfather. Just ask yourself: What is this show really accomplishing if more and more men keep coming again and again. What is it accomplishing if kids past puberty only think about sex. Remember when you were 13?! Were you thinking of flowers and math books? You were thinking of sex, all kinds of sex, most of the time. I was actually afraid of being molested by my peers rather than some older person.
Anyhooo, this show does not accomplish anything, besides ruining lives of ordinary people who got horny. If you enjoy this show, that means you are enjoying the suffering of humans. That puts you right next to murderers, rapists, and anyone else who deliberately wants to hurt another human being. This show is about what's legal and illegal. It is about the execution of police power. It's a prank. It's a well planned entrapment prank by people who know the law. But at the end it doesn't accomplish anything for our society. I just not convinced that most of these men are sexual predators... This show is actually proving that this is natural for a lot of men to have sex with 13 year olds. If so many people want to do this than what's the solution? Arrests? Jail? What if this never stops? Should we jail all men to get rid of this problem??? As dc said, "thought" instead of actually "do". Were will the line be drawn? Freedom of speech vs protection of our children. Just because someone thought they were talking to a thirteen year old, but the individual was really a nineteen year old, was a crime really commited in the first place? Even your decoys are of legal age. So if your using people that are of legal age in computer talk and your decoys are 18 or older, no one is really commiting a crime against a minor. If you charge someone with a crime there has to be a victim and in this case there is no minor present. One day I think this defense will come out and the predators will be at it again.

I have been watching your "To Catch a Predator" episodes with interest. I have been shocked by the disturbingly brazen behavior of these individuals. However I must say I've been even more shocked and alarmed at the actions of the members of law enforcement captured on video by your cameras. Although none of these men have appeared to become openly violent or threatening (many of them willing to sit meekly and talk on camera) I have seen them tackled, thrown to the ground and on last night's episode one of the men was shot with a 50,000 volt taser! My understanding from working with law enforcement is that this was an inappropriate use of the taser device. They are to be used "in the place" of a firearm. The man it was used on was showing no sign of aggression or threatening gestures towards the officers. There was no immediate concern for officer safety. The manufacturers of the tasers who train law enforcement in the use of these devices teach that this is not a proper use of them. My concern is that your cameras and the overall tone of your programs is promoting and encouraging this behavior by law enforcement. I believe you have made your point. By continuing with these episodes are you sensationalizing and exploiting for profit the serious sickness suffered by the men who respond to your "decoys?" At this point I would be more interested in an espisode about what causes the horribly despicable actions of these men. Why do we have this obvious phenomenon in our society? What is it that makes a man so completely unable to control his thoughts and behavior and engage in such harmful, risky behavior. The only way we'll ever stop it is to understand what causes it. You're just beating a dead horse, so to speak, by continuing to run episodes of the same thing over and over. Whatever you do please put an end to the conduct of the law enforcment personnel on your show. I find it alarming that anyone would find pleasure or entertainment in that.

Hi Chris, I am a 13 year veteran Officer for the Dept of Correction and a father of 2 children. I commend you for the job you are doing in catching these certain individuals. Your show does a great job in portraying how they come from all walks of life for example, the rabbi, the brain surgeon, the war veteran. It shows how this epidemic does not have a certain face painted on it. I do not feel any remorse for them, anyone in their right mind would know that sex with a 13 year old is wrong. I see what happens to sex offenders when they come to prison. In my third year in one of my state's toughest prisons I witnessed a sexual predator get half of his face cut off with a "shank" or homemade knife because of his crime of molesting 2 girls aged 13 and 15. If prisoners, who are stripped of their rights and dignity, view this as a disgusting act than shame on any person who says the show is wrong for doing this. I understand that children at the ages of 13 to 15 start to get curious about sex, thats when parenting should come in to answer any questions the teen might have, not have some sexual deviant preying online show up and ruin the teens life along with the parents. Spending state resources on filling our prison populations with average citizens who would otherwise have the credentials and talents to be working at Google, Microsoft or Nickolodeon? Sure, thats it. These officers are too afraid to show up to arm robberies, burglaries or even fights while in progress because it might endanger their lives. In the bigger cities where they're filming these shows, real crime victims have to wait on-hold sometimes as long as 15 minutes when calling 911. Where are these guys? I'm married to a man who chatted on-line three years ago with an undercover cop posing as a 14'teen year old girl. It was all sexual talk and it was disgusting. We have two children together. One boy and one girl. He went away to jail and is now a registered sex offender. My family and neighbors don't approve. After seeing all the dateline shows and wanting to throw up... I don't know why I'm still with him. I feel like I'm trapped in a fish bowl and can't see things for what they are. I wish you would do a show on how the familys of these men are affected by this horrible mistake. I've been made to feel so bad about what my husband did with family members calling him and I every name in the book. I just always wanted a happy family of my own and then everything was destroyed in one night. I have nightmares about this everynight and it never leaves my mind for a second. I think the work you are doing is admirable, but it could be more effective. I don't want to see these guys back on the street 3 hours after they are arrested. There must be something you can do to make their offense a felony or something that will get them off the streets for a long time. One idea might be to encourage the "predator" to bring drugs (or at least alcohol) to the meeting. Maybe ask the predator to bring some drugs that the underaged child can buy from them. This would be one way to up the ante on the charges available to be filed. Someone should be able to do some research and figure a way to maximize the time these guys have to do once caught. We should not have to watch predators coming in for a second try within months of their first arrest.

For the parents who are scared of internet predators, please remember that 20 or 30 years ago there's no such thing as IM, Messenger, or MySpace - yet here we are. We survived and functioning perfectly well. Your child and teenagers will not die if they have no internet access (no matter if they claim they will). Cancel the internet subscription. You'll save money and have peace of mind. The brats my whine for a while but it's your money and you're doing it out of love. Besides, you'll force them to find better use of their time than BS all day in the internet - like actually doing their homework and household chores! A few salient factors I wish to highlight: 1) I first wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you who wrote in who conveyed your own horrific experiences of being sexually victimized by adults when you were minors. I commend you for being courageous enough to share that. I am sorry that you have had to encounter so much pain. I cannot say I was ever sexually victimized, so I cannot say that I know exactly how you feel. I hope that by watching TO Catch a Predator, that it has at least partially helped you in the lifelong healing process. God bless you all! And remember, it was NOT your fault that these perpetrators did that to you, and you did NOT deserve it. 2) I could go on and on about the "pro-entrapment" camp that condemns Chris Hansen and NBC for this. With the knowledge of potential harm that can become a child from participating in chat rooms, including rape and murder, any parent that lets their young child participate in a chat room should be charged with endangering the welfare of a minor. It's fun? Would you let your 13 year old take your car because it's fun? Would you let them experiment with drugs because some people say it's fun? would you let them scubadive, skydive, or mountain climb unsupervised because it's fun? Parents having to start parenting. As little children we were taught "Don't talk to strangers." Since then, the strangers have both multiplied and gotton stranger. You want to avoid the risks? Explain to children they may get killed, so therefore they MAY NOT GO INTO CHAT ROOMS. PERIOD. END OF STORY. The scary part is not how many people were caught. The scary part is... If this many people were caught in one town, how many people like this are across America and were not caught? Just do the math. Fifty people times how many large and medium cities across America? That's a big number. That's scary.

i am glad for programs like yours.it really shows the problem with sexual predators. i live in a town were there is a predaotr who has been arrested several times and has actually been caught with kids inschool restrooms and yet he is able to keep his identy secret from the people. i had heard a rumor that he lived in the area of a major park in this town. havinf several young females in my family(nieces, daughter, cousins) it is nice to knwo that people like perverted justice is out there trying to protec them. we have to remember though that the best protection is in the home and moitoring and teaching our kids about internet predators. thanks

If this show prevents one child from being molested then it has more than served a positive purpose. The number of people that imply it is the parent's and the child's responsibility to make sure these things do not happen is living in a fantasy world. Certainly there are things that parents can and should do to make sure that their children are not falling into these online traps. However, who has ever met a level headed or mature thirteen year old? Is a thirteen year old capable of always making the right choice. They lack the life experience to make the right choices. One night they sleep with stuffed animals and the next night they want to sleep with grown men. It is the responsibility of these men, who have life experiences and an understanding of the law, not to reply to a thirteen year old who is "asking for it". Perverted Justice and Dateline bring attention to these men. These men should be exposed so that people who have pre-teens that are in contact with these men can take precautions. I support this show whole-heartedly and hope that parents are sitting down with their preteen and teenage children to view these episodes. Keep up the good work.

The Dayton (Ohio) Daily News (1/26/07) lists sentences of 3 guys you caught in your sting. These guys are getting DAYS of jail time and are back on the streets. It is disappointing and seems like a slap in the face after all the hard work to catch them. For example: Glenn D. Mitchell, 53, of Carmel, Ind., was sentenced to 94 days in jail (time served) on one count of importuning. Nathan E. Downhour, 24, of Montpelier was sentenced to 35 days (time served) on one count of attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Roger W. Brummitt, 46, of Defiance was sentenced to 60 days on one count of attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Each must reimburse the county $1,477 for prosecution costs and $500 for sex offender evaluations. This seems to be a slap on the wrist for these guys. I really appreciate your efforts to find them. Thank you for doing what you are doing.

Hi. I wanted to let you know what a great job you are doing in exposing this kin of stuff. I watch your show a lot. I only wish more law enforcement would also pay more attention to what is going on on-line. I live in a small neighborhood in which there is openly a lot of older men are meeting some of the neighborhood underage girls,the kids here talk a lot about it. It has been reported to the local police department,who has done nothing about it as of yet. I myself have reported 2 known sex offenders who had been arrested and charged with having sex with young girls and found guilty,one who recently was released from prison. Checking the registered sex offender list for our area,I have seen that the one just released from prison is not even registered. And the one who is registered has given a false adress,which I reported to the contact address on that site. Nothing on that page has been changed still. Most of the men in this area who have been convicted for these crimes against children have been given extremely light sentances. One only served 30 days in jail and is on 5 years of unsupervised probation. I do not understand why these predators have received such light sentences,and put back out into society to continue what they were arrested for to begin with.Even after continuous reporting of what goes on in this neighborhood,it seems the police here has something they think is more important to do than protect the young citizens.(The majority of the time,the car 'on-duty' for our neighborhood can be found parked on a side street here and the officers asleep,instead of continuously patroling our area and acting on tips they receive about different activities going on here that are breaking the law.There are many other people here besides myself who have brought things up,especially the predators in our neighborhood,at the monthly crime watch meeting for our neighborhood(still with no results).Keep doing such a great job catching the ones you do.At least there is some place that is getting them off the streets before they hurt anymore young people.

First, the decoys have very strict guidelines. The adult ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS initiates contact with the decoy. ALWAYS. The adult ALWAYS initiates sexual talk. The adult ALWAYS suggests meeting for sex. The decoy does not "invite them over." If there was anything fishy about their protocol, there would not be well over 100 CONVICTIONS from these stings. Second, they are committing a REAL crime. They are attempting to molest a child. Would you rather they actually molest someone before it is considered a crime? Most state laws SPECIFICALLY explain that there does not need to be an ACTUAL minor involved. This, this is not fantasy; people are not being punished for their thoughts. Once they leave their homes and travel to the minors house, they have crossed the line into reality. And when they say this is their first time, that has been PROVEN on many occasions to be false. What they really mean is this is their first time being caught. Fourth, according to most state laws, they have committed a crime even BEFORE they leave the house. Sexual language with someone you think is a consenting adult is perfectly legal. Sexual language with someone you think is a "consenting" child is a crime. Imagine you are at a park and you witness an adult approach a young girl and comment on her breasts, ask her how much pubic hair she has, or if she's had anal sex. He then shows her his genitals. He then tries to convince her to show him her breasts. THAT is what goes on in these chats and it is a crime! But because it's on the internet, people think of it differently. It's the same as if they were at the park. Fifth, even though the decoys follow even STRICTER protocols than most law enforcement who do these stings on their own, what difference would it make if the child DID encourage the adult? Or if the child DID invite them over? The decoys DO NOT do this, but what if they did? Is that permission to molest a child? Age of consent laws are made, along with other age limitation laws, because children do not have the ability to understand the consequences of their actions. This includes sexual activity, tobacco use, gambling, alcohol, etc. The laws protect them from themselves. Sixth, there are women predators, but very few on the internet. As I have seen stated here before, women, even predatorial ones, value the development of a "relationship" more than just sex. They tend to molest minors close to them, who they can see often. The few women the folks at Perverted Justice have come across have primarily been part of a m/f couple looking for a third, or, more likely, an enabling wife or girlfriend of the actual predator. Anyone who has issue with Perverted Justice's tactics really should educate themselves before spouting off nonsense. Truckloads of information is freely available on their website. The convictions should speak for themselves.

If judges and prosecutors allow pedophiles to continue to enter plea bargains which frequently dismiss other charges such as possesion of child pornography, a slap on the hand usually follows. Also judges that stack multiple sentences on first time offenders only make a mockery of any crime committed against a child. One recent example in Indiana, four counts of attempted child molestation equals nine months of a possible four years the child predator will serve. Wake up and confront the prosecutors and judges whom choose to release these criminals as quickly as possible back into our communities.

I like the comment about "killing the wolf". Maybe we should "KILL" all the animals that are a danger to humans. Kill wolves, lions, tigers, bears......mountain lions.....because we humans are gods. We rule the planet. Instead of wasting time and money on trapping men.....why don't we educate people. Maybe we've forgotten what educate means. You know...it's what other countries are doing to pass us in economics and wealth. Not the fault of the teachers (maybe the parents), but our education system is terrible. Parenting isn't something you do after you've gotten a dog. Parenting is taking responsibility and bringing your kids up to have common sense.

I don't understand why everyone who is calling "entrapment" is so upset, unless of course you really want to rape and molest underage children yourselves? We should do anything, I mean absolutely anything to protect our children against predators, and if the people are screaming that they don't like the show, then don't watch it. If you aren't a child molester, then what do you care what datelind does? Also, some people were saying that there are kids on the computers who are doing inappropriate things, and I think the parents are at fault for that and should be keeping a closer eye on their kids, but rape and molestation is never ok, no matter what a kid types!!
