Rowling sat down with NBC's Meredith Vieira, the two discussed Rowling's life pre-Potter, how the Harry Potter franchise changed her life, and the decision process in killing off a character. Ive read most of them at least 3 times. When your latest book came out I got it at midnight and read until around 4 in the morning. I finish the book the next night, none of my friends could beleive I had finished it that fast.I love books and read your first book at around 4th grade. When I read books it is like a movie to me.
Hope you get used to having spare time
brandy

Revelations from Rowling: 'I cried and cried...'

I turned forty three days after the seventh book was published. The whole SEVEN thing has appealed to me, as it's always been MY number. It's been quite fitting that the end of the saga should come at the end of a personal phase of mine.
Yes. I'm a Potter addict. I'll admit to it.
I resisted temptation to read the last line before embarking on The Deathly Hallows, precisely because I wanted to get there WITH Harry. I sensed he'd be there.
My friends have reminded me that it's all fiction and that he is NOT real.
Ha.
Little do they know, eh?
I just hope my two little girls acquire enough English to be able to read my seven books.
Though of course they won't live the added excitement I have of waiting for the next one to come out and devouring it in record time.

Revelations from Rowling: 'I cried and cried...'

I don't understand how Harry became the rightful owner of the master wand so that he was able to kill LordVoldervort. Draco did disarm Dumbuldore of his master wand up on the tower, right before Snape killed him. Harry did disarm Draco in the fire. But at the time Draco was disarmed by Harry, it was a different wand, not the master wand. The master wand was put in Dumboldoure's grave. So was is it not still Draco's and not Harry's wand?

Revelations from Rowling: 'I cried and cried...'

Having followed the story from the start, I feel dis-appointed that at the end there was a 19 year gap to when the epologue started.
