Polygraph tests are not 100 percent accurate, or they would be allowed in court. IT is actually possible to fail a polygraph test even though you told the entire truth. I paid to have myself polygraphed and submitted only questions I knew I could answer truthfully, easily. I failed one question, even though I told the truth, and I don't know why. Except that, if you google on polygraphs, you will find stories of other people who told the truth in a polygraph situation and the polygraph test said they were deceptive. Polygraph tests are not accurate.

I watched the Dateline NBC report last night and I believe that both are cold blooded killers and incapable of remorse or guilt. Even to this day, they blame everyone but themselves. Who is the instigator? Both. David used Adrian to get what he wanted, Diane; Diane used David to get what she wanted, a dead Adrian. That night in Texas they were both on the same page, just different books, with the conclusion of both the same. Regardless of who pulled the trigger, that this pair is locked up is a plus for society.

I'm going to blame a third person in this event--Adrianne Jones. NO ONE deserves to die the way she did; it was a cold, ruthless act, perpetrated and carried out by two cold blooded individuals--Diane Zamora and David Graham. However, read a bio of Adrianne Jones. Despite "house rules" of no late phone calls or late activity, she frequently sneaked out of her house in the middle of the night--so much so that her dad nailed her window shut--to attend parties. Zamora's claim that Adrianne "felt guilty" about having sex with David is suspicious in itself, not because Zamora said it, but because if Jones DID feel guilt, why sneak out in the middle of the night for another rendezvous? Do I believe Zamora and Graham are innocent? Not for a second; but I cannot help but think that Jones's partying ways tragically caught up with her.
As the judge in the trial said...three families lost children and one other lost a career.

It is continually insulting to the Jones family that this woman is still declaring her innocence. Her guilt has been thoroughly proven. There is nothing complex or doubtful about Diane's legal case. She cruelly murdered a young girl on a lonely pasture those years ago. And her lie detector test DOES prove what we knew all along, that she did cruelly bash this little girl's head with that weight. The only person, aside from the poor victim, who might garner a shade of sympathy is David. He was such a weak person as to allow himself to be lead by such a cruel and vicious, unstable, jealous young woman as Diane Zamora was. I don't know what she is like now, and she may truly be sorry. But the fact remains, a beautiful and vital young child is gone to her family forever. Diane is where she needs to be; blaming David cannot give her a get-out-of-jail-free-ticket. If anything--he is less culpable than she, who hatched the whole wicked plot.

My feelings about this interview were mixed AND very clear as to what happened as I followed this case closely from the original time when the story broke.

First of all, I would like to say that I am glad that there was a section here to make comments about this because during the interview, I thought that I would like to mention what I noticed about this entire interview and that I would like to share the observations that I witnessed during this interview.

I believe that it was a mistake for Ms. Zamora to go on public record to even give this interview with Dateline. I find this program fascinating all the same, however, I feel that so that pain is enough for the family of Adrienne Jones that why would Ms. Zamora want to do this interview. It seems to me that there were so many motives involved for this interview and I felt cheated as a viewer in that IF Dateline were so concerned about this case and if Stone Philips felt so strongly about this case, then, why weren't we able to fully listen to the victim's story as well. How about Adrienne's family and perhaps how they felt about the results of the Polygraph test. It seems to me that Dateline, in this case, was only interested in a story and not the feelings of all involved.

I did not care for this police officer who seem to be inappropriate in his statements regarding reading David's full statement. The entire reason that Zamora confessed is BECAUSE of what David had written. It is evident that Zamora is not telling the truth, but, as an officer of the law in an interview setting, it was of poor representation of law enforcement to lie on national television that the officer LIED as well and that should be taken very seriously. He did not have to lie about only reading the first sentence of each page and showing her the signiture only. This was a bald face lie and it was not necessary for him to lie about that. It only creates distrust for law enforcement. During the interview, there was no need to lie because this interview wasn't an investigation and there were no need for any tactics to support the reason to lie about what this officer did. Yes, we KNOW that she was an accomplice and that she and David did commit this murder together. We KNOW that. But is it necessary that simply because they are in prison and that they truly have no recourse to explain in detail what happens when you are arrested and what the investigators are asking during incarceration. It is important that law enforcement does not lie about the tactics they are using. If he did read the entire confession from David, then say so. Just because a person is found guilty, does not mean that law enforcement has to lie about the tactics that were used. This is why ALL confessions SHOULD be recorded on video. I feel lied to by all of them.

I can see that Zamora has aged significantly and she does not look very good at all. She appears gaunt and she looks more as if she is the mother of that girl arrested only a decade ago. I believe she is terribly regretful of her actions and teenagers are so screwed up at that age when it comes to love, emotions and feelings. When she was sixteen, she was very self-assured and cocky. But the parents, the school and her environment allowed her to behave that way. Where were her parents when this act occurred? Where were David's parents? We know that Adrienne left the house to meet David under his own false pretenses in the claim that he needed to talk to her that night and that he was so depressed.

The unfortunate thing is that Zamora continues to lie about that night. Period. She knows that she did ask David to murder Adrienne because they were so obsessed with each other and that Zamora had given up her virginity (which was her pride and to many of us in our high school years, an important part of us. It was to me and I felt this was at one time in my own love affair with my high school sweetheart). I remember feeling so strongly that virginity was important to me as well as exclusivity.

I feel that David was the jerk to have opened this entire incident of even sleeping with Adrienne and unfairly involving her in this awful mess. Ms. Jones did ask David at the time if he was dating anyone and he lied to her which led to her murder. The irony was that Ms. Jones was a witness to a prior trial----maybe a year before she was murdered---on which another girl attacked the girl who slept with her boyfriend and had warned David that she did not want to mess around with any one else's boyfriend as a result. The irony was that Adrienne was extremely mindful of this and would not have wanted to anger another female in that way. David seemed to have wanted to anger Diana, to deliberately make her jealous and to cause an innocent girl to be killed on the count of his own insecurities.

I think that this is a very sad and very disturbing story in that three lives were needlessly destroyed forever and I also feel that it is wrong to capitalize on the pain of others for a story. Yes, I was interested in what Ms. Zamora had to say after all of these years and it was important to understand what was going on in her mind. The two girls were victims of a cruel and selfish act by David Graham. If the community were not so into glorifying young people so early and treating young people as they ought to be, I believe that we would see a lot less of this arrogance supported by parents and the community and the schools to begin with. We have to take some responsibility as to what led these young people into wanting to grow up so fast and what are we allowing to happen to teenagers today.

It seems lost on society that there is a standard of behavior expected from teenagers and that is the need to set boundaries and guidelines to help as much as possible to prevent such a terrible thing. I believe that if Zamora's and Graham's parents paid more attention to what they were going through and perhaps had given time to listen to what their children were trying to tell them, who knows what could have happened. Yes, teenagers are avoidant at that age, but this also has to do with how they are raised in the vey first place. It seems that the investigation was centered on who "looked" like the killer and as Zamora and the officer said, if it were not for Zamora, this case would have gone unsolved. Ask yourself "Why?" WHy would it have gone unsolved. It is because we idolize young people when we need to acknowledge their good work and nothing more.

Society needs to factor in how much we play into favoritism because this is what this unfortunate case was about. Society has ALWAYS favored the best and never the ones who are trying or who are showing fine character or ethical character. If we focused more on what character means and how important this is for adulthood, perhaps, we can offset so many of these teenaged angst tragedies.

We have forgotten what it was like to be 16 and how important things were to us at that time. Imagine how Zamora feels now? SHe feels terrible and will live in her own private hell for the rest of her life over the overwhelmimg feelings for one boy. The sad thing was that she would have met better men after David and now she and David are literally locked together forever by this horrible death.

As for Adrienne, the awful thing was that she was not given a choice or a voice to explain what had happened to Diana. They might have become friends. This was a terrible loss and this deserves more introspection that " I hope she rots in prison". These simple minded comments are useless and have no basis of what we could all learn from this.

We forget that something like this could have happened to ANY one of us. We were all teenagers and some of us made very good decisions and some of us made some very poor to disasterous decisions. It is easy to make simple minded comments and wrap it up under one catagory. We never seem to take into account of what other events played into this awful ending. Who was minding these young people? Why were they living as if they were in college already?

No one mentions Adrienne Jones or has asked her family one thing or how they feel today or what they are doing in her memory. We are focused on the wrong things as we always are and it is the very reason that things like this happen. Why did Dateline NEED to run this story and to have only provided this polygraph under THEIR conditions only to air this on National television. It does not seem as if they care about the outcome, except, of course, their own.

Another thing that does not make any sense is that Zamora said that they brough Jones back to the car. Well, that could not have happened realistically. Remember, Adrienne was trying to get away from them after she was bludgeoned. Zamora says she was shot the first time. Well, if she was shot in the head, then, Adrienne was already dead. Why would they need to bring her BACK to the car if she was already shot. Adrienne had already climbed over the fence once she was injured by the butt of the gun and was trying to escape. Adrienne was shot once she was over the fence and had fallen. David shot her twice. This is the part of the story in which Zamora lost credibility with me. And how was she in the trunk of the car if she was pulling on Adrienne's hair. The time line of events were off. I believe Adrienne climbed out of the window of the car after she was hit by the butt of the gun. I disagree with the doctor on the stand who said that she would have been unconscious. Remember, these kids were young, athletic and at that age, you are able to withstand such injuries than you would if you were 10-20 years older. SO it was very likely that when Adrienne escaped through the window that she was conscious at the time yet heavily injured and more likely becoming unconscious as she ran from David who chased her through that field in the pitch black darkness; the only light must have been from the head lights. She tripped,fallen, and David shot her while she was down. She could not have been brought back to the car at any time.

There are other angels besides Adrienne who died who were just as beautiful and kind. You act as if you knew her and if you did, who is to say how you may have reacted if this had all happened to you. Gosh you folks are something ELSE tonight on this board! There are other stories as well that deserve to be heard. And again, many of the women on this board have more than likely have behaved or thought it in your own minds just as Diane has at some point in your lives. Many of you are some insincere goody two shoers. Unbelievable that it is laughable!! And Pathethic. None of you know any of these people or their lives and all of you act as if you know just what is going on! The only intelligent posts are those who have more to say than Diane should go to hell we are not fooled by her. Great! Can we have something more to say as by the very few who have mentioned the falliability of Polygraph Detectors or that cop who lied about reading that entire statement to Zamora. WHo is there to trust if you cannot trust what the COP said. He is just as bad as the rest of them.

Thanks Cin leesburg, VA and the Doctor who questioned Polygraph detectors, that was about the most intelligent post so far besides these others going on and on about hell and brimstone. I wonder how stable are some of these people when they judge Diane? I say NOT.

The evidence never lies, People do. With that said, Diane is in a hopeless situation and only she knows what happened. Many of us followed closely to this story from the very beginning and yes, she has made some damning statements. I think that if she had just said that she was a part of this and that she could not apologize to the Jones family enough and to stop appealing, that there may be hope yet even in prison. I would have felt something more for her if she would only be truthful of her part in this and simply explained what she was truly feeling and that she did not know Adrienne and that she was wrong for believing in David. The only thing that she was truthful about was the fact that she was regretful and that teenagers will do very stupid things. Zamora knows that her life was over the moment she had taken Adrienne's life. This is a very, very sad story because every one's life in this circle will never, ever, be the same again or will ever be in peace. All three parents lost their children and at worse, Adrienne's mother....whom Stone Philips should have given the air time for.

The media does not care about any of these people. The media is a selfish driven business and is only concerned about our viewership. If anything, WE dummies were more manipulated by Dateline than by Zamora. Zamora's life is over as far as what she could have been. And to those who did not watch the Dateline version which came on tonight on TLC: the Polygraph read her responses as deceptive with counter-meansure tactics. However, I believe that the questions were too broad stroked and she did look frightened. I do not believe that she would have taken this Polygraph on National Television to fail and she was brave to have taken such a fallible or unreliable measure of truthfulness. The out come also read that her responses were not extremely truthful which does not mean that she out and out lied. If the questions are broad as they were, then, how can we possibly know the truth. These results are also translated and all aspects must be factored in before passing judgement. I believe that she felt responsible for causing Adrienne's death by asking David to actually kill Adrienne. Unfortunately, Zamora did not try to save this young woman's life and she was there when David murdered Adrienne. To this day, I cannot understand why he would have told Diane that he did what ever he did with Adrienne. If he really loved Diane, he would have carried that burden alone and began to be honest with Diane from that moment on rather than to manipulate Diane's feelings and playing one against the other. If David would have considered Adrienne's feelings and Diane's feelings and abandoned his own insecurities, Adrienne Jones would be alive today. I have noticed that no one is damning David for creating this problem to start. Why would he want Diane to feel hatred toward a young girl that she did not even know? Why did he tell Diane such a thing? COuld it have been that he wanted to sleep with Adrienne Jones and that Adrienne rejected him in such a way as to get back at her for doing so? Could it be that David killed Adrienne by manipulation to rattle Diane's cage by knowingly figuring (possibly through private conversations in the past between Diane and David; that if one had slept with any other that they would kill the one whom they had cheated with?)

I think that the possibility stands to reason that David may have wanted to kill Adrienne Jones and perhaps had Diane watch as a message of what he could do.

Though, when, Diane flew to Colorado, I have to admit that she HAD to tell David to get his story together. It would be natural that she would. The only time that she was scared of David was when she slept with the other midshipman. I think that this was a bit of a exciting rush for Diane that he would kill for her.

Also must admit that Stone Philips seems a bit creepier and arrogant as time goes by. Dateline seems to enjoy humiliating people for ratings. They did not only humiliate Diane Zamora,but Adrienne Jones's family as well. I am certain ol' Stoney biy did not care to consider their feelings by bringing up this again. I guess that they are out of material for now and so they have to spin and rustle the dirt out from the past and bring up pain and sorrow....ah...the life of media mania...what they will do for a story. And please stop playing the SAME stories over and over again. Research more stories out there about justice, victory and the good things that people are doing to protect victims of crime. Be creative Dateline!! Show some diversity in your stories. There are other types of people. I am quite sure that there are other nationalities who are going through as much than your primary choice of stories. It cannot only be one. There is more than one race in this country. Show us other stories if you desire higher ratings.

I am so sick of those who have this blind hatred for Diane. None of these people even know this woman. I agree about the fact that Adrienne DID sneak out of the house and when her father nailed that damned window shut that this should have been a warning to Adrienne (though I do agree that she did not deserve such a punishment as what she got from D&D). DAVID is the one who CAUSED these girls to be in danger from the get go. I think he wanted to see these girls fight and he KNEW that this would make Diane JEALOUS by bringing Adrienne up in the first place.

DAVID is the evil one and Diane could NOT control these feelings for David. They were obsessed with each other and this obsession led to something awful. The sad thing about it was that they brought Adrienne into their dysfunction obsessions.

I think that Diane may be on some medications and may want to distance herself from this. She IS trying to convince herself of the lesser culpability of this murder.

I like the few comments of some on this board who has not resorted to the god bless and the I hate Diane parade...it is getting awfully boring to read the typical woman's rantings of how much they hate a person that they do not know. The Bible does not stop at murder as the only sin. There ARE more sins caused by others that this board seems to leave out. There is the sin of favoritism, gossip,slandering, prejudice, and many more and I KNOW that according to human nature that many of these people on this board aren't completely angels in their own minds. Yes, Diane committed a murder, no doubt about that, but what about the things that many of you commit on a regular basis. How do you know if YOU will go to hell or not.

Leave the "Judgement Day" ranting to the professionals.

Thank God that many of you are NOT GOD! You do not know anything about these people. Murder is wrong, so what about the things that YOU do every day. See to it that you don't make it to hell yourself! Don't worry about Diane's salvation. WOrry about your own.

And stop praying for people: find out where Adrienne Jones' mother is and write a letter or send a card. DO SOMETHING. BE THE PRAYER AND NOT THE PRAYERER. Get it????
